First of, Congratulations to Mr. San and to the generous Sajha patrons on passing the 14th year milestone. I have come to you all with an issue me and my relatives are facing. My relatives were staying at a hotel in a US city and the hotel room got broken into. The burglars got away with significant amount of valuable items. Clearly, the hotel lacked even basic security apparatus. We promptly filed a police report. Is there or has anyone gone through or heard of anyone going through such a situation and was able to successfully get satisfactory compensation? Could anyone recommend some attorneys-at-law that works with the Nepali non-profit associations or some affordable attorneys in the Washington DC metro or Greater New York areas?
