my first reaction to gyane's speech was "what's the big deal?". this guy has been saying the same thing for the past 18 months. his word is not to be trusted - he can always go back.

the fundamental "muddha" of nepal are,
1) how to solve maoist movement
2) how to make "royal nepal army" to "nepal army"
3) how to make sure that girija, makune, and deuba don't put the nation's bigger interest over this personal/political interest.

he didn't address the following -
1) what about releasing ALL political prisoners? uml leaders were arrested at the airport just yeserday.
2) what about HOLDING RESPONSIBLE the police and army-men who beat and shot peaceful demonstrators?
3) what about FIRING district, zonal and regional commissioners appointed by him?
4) what about FIRING mandale's secretaries at all the ministries and GER-SAIBS ambassadors?
5) what about the DISSOLVING the raj parisadh?
6) what about FREEZING the assets of current ministers? i am sure they're having a field day looting the state because these guys have nothing to lose
7) what about taking into account ALL THE DISSAPEARED people in nepal?
8) what about REMOVING PARAS "uday hussein" SHAH as the crown prince?
9) what about ACCEPTING the constintuent assembly? he can test his popularity. if nepalese wants a constitutiona monarch, anti-monarchs like me will have nothing to say...

speech doesn't matter at this point..now only thing janata wants is paras and gayane's dead body..
