Dear all,

I am an Electrical or Power Engineer (M.Sc., B.E.) with five (5) years of job experience in Nepal.

Now, I am very interested to search the job in US.

I found one site for H1B consultation.(www.h1base.com)

It demands almost $500.00 for its consultancy service.

Is it worth paying for the service?

Or Should I try for F-1 all by myself?

Any idea?

I am looking forward for kind suggestions/recommendations.

I don't believe it is worth paying $500 just for consulting services unless they are going to guarantee a job for you. Since H-1B is employer specific you prospective employer will have to submit the application on your behalf and they would advise you on what documents are needed.
