anybody goes to florida internation university? how many nepali's are there in this school? if anybody goes there, could you guys post some information about on campus and off campus housing. thanks.

yes there are some Nepalese at FIU in Miami.

I know around 6 Nepalese at that University..all of them doing Masters,PHDs and Post Doc.

Let me know what kind of help you need or just email me and can hook u up with fellow Nepali.

Southji, you can use click on the username and send email via sabai nepaliko sajha. That would be easiest way to keep your email IDs private and still get responses. However, if you don't mind, wouldn't it be easier for someone to send email to you if you leave your email here than asking for their email?

There are currently 194 students from India registered at FIU. The Nepali group is smaller though no official numbers are available. You may wish to access the Southern Florida Nepali Association for more information. I can tell you that this school is often considered a playground school, although they do have some good programs. The south florida weather is a contributing factor.
