Nepal demands immediate clarification on CA

The general secretary of the Unified Marxist Leninist (UML) Madhav Kumar Nepal has asked the government to immediately clarify about the Constituent Assembly elections

Speaking at a tea reception hosted by Bhaktapur district unit of the party on Saturday morning, Nepal said that the government needs to make its position clear in order to erase the growing uncertainty among the public.

At the programme, Nepal reiterated his party's position that referendum remains the most progressive way of deciding the fate of monarchy. Result of referendum will have large legitimacy, he said.

He demanded that the meeting of the eight parties be summoned soon to clear the uncertainty.
