Guys,
I have been talking to this Desi consulting firm in Fremont, CA. It is called Agama Solutions, Inc. It is asking for $ 1000/ for training and marketing deposit and even guarantees job placement after the training even in this market. Is that typical of Desi companies or what? Have any of u talked to them, worked for them in the past at all? I would really appreciate any information on this firm. They say they are gonna train u on QA/BA exclusively for 6-8 weeks 5 days a week and have free accommodation. How good a bargain is that if it is?

FACT: No one can place you in this market with a fake resume. It’s not them, its you, who won’t be able to crake the interview.  You will be competing with people with 7 yrs of real experience. Companies use people from desi consultancies as a last resort. BUT right now, there are too many experience people in the mkt to take those job interviewers are not idiots, who won’t notice you faking. So no matter what they promise they are lying and will not even refund your $1000 if you change your mind later.

Living in a guest hose for 6 months is a mess. There will be 4 ppl in every room with bugs. So be aware.

TELL THEM: SCREW YOU and look for a free one. I used to recruit guys, but I have closed that business as of today. I just don’t want to be a part of your misery.

If you have $1000 left then save that money and HUNT for a starter job. Talk to friends in big cities.  And get yourself a job that you would be good at:

Never pay for training, Desi companies are chors, after they get the money  from you they won't even complete your training and won't even return your calls. They don't have any clients they are just lying, what they do is they just send your resume to the job opening from dice and monster.

That;s what I suspected, so haven't gone there. So Jenny, r  u in this consulting business too? U in California?
