Master degree in math education from Texas, but still not getting job

I suggest you to go for a PhD in statistics or some computational sciences. You will be better off following that track.

Unless its from a highly ranked Uni, or u have GC, its useless. Who suggested u to do masters in math ? Its not that hard to change field here in US. People do it all the time. Even if u had bachelors in math, u could have easily done masters in other fields with good job prospect. U missed ur chance. Now your options are : to do PHD from a good uni and become a professor, goto IT or do second masters in a field that has good job prospects.
