Hello,

I did something stupid on USCIS website by trying to go on to the "self check work authorization". Some how I put a non resident of US instead I should have put an alien authorized to work as I am working on OPT. The system said USCIS need to verify your documents and asked whether you will visit SSA office or not. I get Scared and closed the browser. I don't know about the consequences of it? Does it really matters a lot? Does it affects my stutus?? Koi sathi bhai le ni mero jasto stupid kaam garnu bha thyo ke pahile?

Any suggestions will be appreciated. I am scared a lot. Do I really need to go to SSA office?

 I would just call uscis and confirm nothing is wrong. Not a big deal.

Did you read the instructions or just clicked around. It says they don't store any info. Don't panic.

 Thanks guys. I googled the FAQ also for mismatch too and found I don't need to worry about it, but they advised to confirm just to have peace for myself by knowing the working status.
