  h1b to f1. how to do?

My contract with my client ends next week and my employer recently responded to h1b RFE. Looks like after two weeks I will get approved. However,  I would not have any client(job) after two weeks. and looks like my employer can't find the one.

1. what to do in this case?
2. how can i easily switch to f1 from h1?
3. Any CPT university that will give CPT right away? I already have master's in computer science from USA.

Any relevant suggestion will be highly appreciable.

Can't your employer run your paycheck and maintain your H1B status? And what might be the reason that your employer was asked for h1b rfe?
