I live an hour away from Columbia MD, but I can write few things I know about this town. Columbia MD is a fancy suburb area of Baltimore and Washington D.C. There might be many Nepali living in Columbia MD and in near by towns, but I have not heard of any active Nepali community groups, although near by city Baltimore has many of them. What kind of guidance are you looking forward to receiving - rental, work related ?

 Thank you abcdipan in getting back. I recently got new job and moving to the city. So I was wondering about the apartment, better school area and any nepali family around.

Columbia is a good town. You could find temporary stay in near by city like Baltimore & do some research on good school and residential area of Columbia. BANA is a big association based in Baltimore. I am sure the administration will be happy to guide you over the phone. Prem R Mahat Dai is well known for providing good help to new comers.
