Thanks to everyone who has been kind enough to answer my questions regarding flying through Delhi and visa requirements for Delhi. I have one more question and would grateful appreciate any information you can offer.

We land in Delhi on Dec 26 and haven't quite decided yet how long we want to stay there before flying to Kathmandu. Is it possibe to purchase tickets to Kathmandu when we land in Delhi and are the rates reasonable or is it better to puchase them here before we leave? The lowest Del-Ktm-Del airfare I found here is US$325 each.

At the moment online booking is working except Delhi Kathamandu Sector.
Please try some days later.You get cheaper rate than Sahara and Royal Nepal Airlines.
